Pain de Sucre (Press Release)

PAIN DE SUCRE, THE WORLDWIDE BRAND OF LUXURIOUS SWIMWEAR, OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES ITS 2016 COLLECTION IN THE USA!

Encart-Page-d_accueil_cuba_ENMiami, Florida (March 2016) – The luxurious French brand, Pain de Sucre, is proud to announce its exclusive launch in the US market. Established worldwide with 25 stores in Paris, St Tropez, Monaco, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, Saint Barth and other fine locations, Pain de Sucre can also be found in 600 global retailers including Galeries Lafayette; a major European department store where it is a top-seller. The brand is now about to win over the American woman’s heart with a shiny and shimmering 2016 collection, inspired by French Haute Couture. First Stop, Miami! Must-attend Rendez-Vous? The Hammock Show, July 16-18, 2016, at the W Hotel South Beach, during the Miami Swim Week.

Following the footsteps of previous campaigns, some of which are famous for having launched the career of current fashion and cinema icons (muse of YSL : Laetitia Casta; current Victoria’s Secret’s angel : Elsa Hosk; and James Bond Girl : Olga Kurylenko), the 2016 photo-shoot draws incredible sensuality and femininity that accentuates the generous and sublime curves of Thais Oliveira. The stunning Brazilian model lays on the beaches of her home country in a campaign that echoes with the brand’s name, evocative of Brazilian beaches and other idyllic lands.

Over the past three decades, Pain de Sucre has been a pioneer in the swimwear industry for dedicating its talent to design a variety of more and more innovative cuts and shapes that have inspired major trends. In 2016, the brand has succeeded once again its endless search for technical developments to magnify the female body. The new collection promises women the perfect mix & match game: bandeau tops, sexy pleated bottoms, insolent jewelry-bikinis, bras in subtle set of rings and straps, fluttering kaftans and embroidered tankinis… The collection displays a breathtaking style with inspiration from exotic animals, floral designs, impetuous motifs and vivid colors. The brand showcases refined pieces like the precious OREA, a sexy bikini with metal thread of golden leaves, a creation that illustrates the delicate crochet work that highlights the brand’s traditional craftsmanship.

About Pain de Sucre: Established in 1985 in the South of France next to the French Riviera, the precursor of bikini-jewelry, second-skin materials and quick-drying fibers, has revolutionized the swimwear industry with its haute couture approach to designer swimwear. Today, the unique, fun and sexy brand also excels in creating beachwear, bodywear and loungewear; it offers a large choice of shapes and cuts to fit all body types (one also can find the ‘UnlimiteD’ line with cups up to E and bottoms up to XL). Pain de Sucre pieces range from $70 to $620.
